A man is dead and a woman in custody after a fatal stabbing in south Dallas early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the 3800 block of Windelkin St and when they arrived they found a man suffering from stab wounds inside the residence.
When emergency crews arrived to the scene they pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officers found a knife that they believed was used in the crime and took a female at the residence into custody for questioning.
The female told police that she used the knife in self defense against the victim.
This stabbing investigation is ongoing.
