A man riding a motorcycle was arrested Thursday afternoon after he fired several rounds at officers.
Christopher Sam Basco,37 was driving westbound on I-20 around 11:45am when he opened fire striking a Greenwood Police officers vehicle.
The officer was not struck.
Basco fled from deputies and a chase ensued with him crossing Texas state lines.
Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputies assisted Caddo Parish, Texas DPS and Louisiana State Police with the chase.
The chase continued into Harrison County when the motorcycle finally came to a stop at the 599 mile marker near the Gregg County line on I-20.
Basco was arrested and is facing multiple charges.
