On Friday, a North Carolina man was sentenced to 40 years in federal prison for running a drug trafficking operation out of his in-home daycare he operated, in an apartment, with his wife and other personnel.
A search warrant had been executed for Rashad Jamar Everett’s apartment, they found 36lb of marijuana, 300 grams of cocaine, and a loaded CZ scorpion firearm. As well as finding $65,000, 8 guns, ammunition, and THC edibles.
Everett gave a false testimony during his trial under oath, as well as bribing and or threatening others to give a false testimony too. He also had gang members intimidating witnesses. He also used social media to defame the Fayetteville Police Department and Cumberland County District Attorney’s office for planting the drugs inside his home.
Rashad Jamar Everett was found guilty of six felony drug trafficking and firearms charges.
