Man Shoots Five Women During Domestic Dispute Killing Three of Them

A Virginia man is in custody after shooting five women and killing three of them.
The incident occurred on November 3, shortly after 6pm in Norfolk.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 800 block of Whitaker Lane.
Upon arrival they found five women suffering from gunshot wounds.

A 39 and 19 year old woman were transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Three women, Detra R. Brown,42, Nicole Lovewine,45, and Sara E. Costine,44, were all pronounced dead at the scene.
After further investigation, officers arrested Ziontay B. R. Palmer,19.
He was charged with three counts of second degree murder, two counts of malicious wounding, and five counts of use of a firearm. He is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
It was said Palmer was arguing with his girlfriend outside before the shooting.
The victims mother and neighbors rushed to help before being shot by Palmer.
This is said to have been a domestic incident.
