A search is underway for a man who officers say started shooting during an altercation outside of a convenient store early Sunday morning.
The incident happened outside of the 7-Eleven on Ledbetter near Bonnie View Rd. around 4 a.m. The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition. However, witnesses told police the suspect fled the scene before they arrived.
Police are currently combing through surveillance video to identify the shooter and get-away vehicle.
If anyone has any information they are urged to call the police.
