A man was killed late Friday night in a Dallas apartment complex.
According to reports police responded to a shooting call on the 4600 block of Cedar Springs Rd and when they arrived they found Joshua Brown,28 suffering from gunshot wounds in the parking lot of Atera apartments.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Brown lived next door to Botham Jean and was a key witness in the Amber Guyger Murder trial.
A witness in the area told police they heard gunshots and then saw a silver four door sedan leaving the scene.
This investigation is ongoing.
