Man Shot And Killed In Parking Lot During Carjacking In Dallas

A man was shot and killed Tuesday afternoon following a car jacking in a business parking lot.
Officers responded to a shooting call at Beverly Bistro Bar on the 3200 block of N. Fitzugh Ave.
Upon arrival officers located a 43 year old male victim unresponsive in the parking lot.
He was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
During the course of the investigation officers learned that the victim had stolen a man’s vehicle earlier that day.
The victim and subject then got into a verbal argument and the victim rammed the stolen vehicle into the man’s other vehicle.
As a result the man opened fire striking the victim.
The subject was taken into custody for questioning and later released.
The victims identity has not been released at this time.
