Man Shot During Robbery In North Dallas

On November 11, 2019, at approximately 4:50 a.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 9700 block of Forest Lane.
The victim was found with a gunshot wound. The victim, a 33-year-old Middle Eastern male stated he was walking to his vehicle when the Black male suspect came out of nowhere and shot at him.
The victim said the suspect then demanded property from him.
The suspect took the victim’s wallet and fled the location. Dallas Fire Rescue responded and transported the victim to a local hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.
