31-year-old Rutledge Deas IV has been arrested after pretending to have special needs and employing caretakers to change his diapers.
On Thursday, authorities say that Deas was taken into custody at his residence after requesting “alternative therapy” from an individual. Officials say that he asked that person to change his diaper.
Additionally, Deas is suspected of trying to get that person to persuade other babysitters to take care of him. All the while, he was acting like a person with special needs.
Now, Deas is facing one count of human trafficking and one count of attempted human trafficking.
Documents also reveal that this isn’t the first time that Deas has done this.
In 2019, he faced the same charges of hiring a babysitter who would be paid to change his diapers and treat him like a kid.
