A Michigan man won $1 million on a scratch-off lottery ticket! He was so thrilled that he unintentionally drove off with the gas pump still in his car.
The man, 59, who chose to stay anonymous, got his glorious Winning Millions ticket at a Speedway gas station and sped away.
“I stopped at Speedway to get gas and decided to get a ticket while I was there. I started scratching the ticket while my gas was pumping,” the winner said to Michigan Lottery. “When I saw I’d matched the number 14 and then revealed the $1 million amount underneath, I started yelling. ‘Are you kidding me?!’”
Lottery officials have reported that the winner stopped by lottery headquarters to cash in his ticket. He decided that he wanted a lump sum of about $634,517 than in annuity payments for the whole amount. He is projecting that he will get a home, car, and enjoy a nice vacation!
