A mother and child were killed late Wednesday night and several others injured after a truck collided into a suv In Pleasant Grove. 
According to Dallas police officers were called to the intersection of Elam and Masters Dr for a crash and when they arrived they found a woman unresponsive and 3 others suffering at the scene.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the mother deceased at the scene and 3 others were transported to a nearby hospital where the child later died.
Detectives are investigating what led up to the crash.
