A New York man fatally shoots his mother during a disagreement about him not wanting to find work Tuesday night.
The incident happened in the Lehman Houses on East 108th Street near Park Avenue, despite Jaiteh Fatuuomat,39 having a panic button inside her home and a protective order against her son from a previous altercation between the two when he threatened to kill her.
According to reports Musa Camara,22 allegedly shot his mother in the head after a disagreement and fled the scene to East 100th Street, where he fired several shots at a 29 year old man, but missed.
Officers later caught up with Camara at 110th Street and Madison Avenue, where he tried to pull his gun on officers but was tackled and arrested before he could fire.
Camara was not immediately booked into jail, he was taken to Metropolitan Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
