Over the weekend, a driver was attacked by a motorcyclist, and now authorities in Philadelphia have made an arrest.
On Wednesday, Cody Heron, 26, was apprehended in the 4500 block of E. Stiles in the Frankford area.
Heron is facing charges of Possession of an Instrument of Crime, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, and multiple counts of Aggravated Assault. His bail is $2.5 million.
At his residence, a bike, helmet, and a 9mm firearm that was supposedly used in the occurrence were found.
The incident happened as the suspect was accompanied by ATV and dirt bike riders, close to City Hall around 9:40 p.m. on Sunday.
Police say that Heron was seen on camera smashing a mother’s back windshield with his feet as her children were sitting in the back seat.
When the mother confronted him, the suspect retrieved a black handgun that had fallen from his waistband and aimed it at her.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as Nikki Bullock. She had been traveling with her girlfriend, their 5-year-old daughter, and 2-year-old son as they were delivering for Uber Eats.
Bullock said that, at first, the biker sideswiped her. Then, she began to argue with the group before Heron got off his bike and jumped on her vehicle.
The confrontation continued prior to Heron leaving the location with the other bikers.
Finding Heron wasn’t easy as police say he had been using a different name on the internet which misled detectives in the beginning.
An investigation is on-going.
