An investigation is underway after a man was fatally shot at an intersection Wednesday afternoon.
Cedar Hill police responded to a shooting call at the intersection of S. Duncanville Road and Bear Creek Road a little before 5:30 p.m.
When officers arrived they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
As authorities investigated they learned that an unknown suspect exited a vehicle, approached a male victim on a motorcycle and then shot him.
The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle before officers could arrive.
Cedar Hill police are reviewing surveillance footage in the area and asking anyone that may have information regarding the shooting to contact police.
