The NBA has suspended its season until further notice due to a Utah Jazz player testing positive for the Coronavirus outbreak.
Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert tested positive for the virus Wednesday and the NBA suspended games following the report during the game between Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder at the Chesapeake Arena.
Sources are saying Gobert was never in the arena Wednesday but he was in Oklahoma City Wednesday night ready to play if he had tested negative for the Coronavirus.
Players were on the court doing warm ups when they were asked to come to the locker room and told games would be suspended.
Utah and Oklahoma players were placed on quarantine inside the arena and teams that have played Utah are asking to self quarantine.
The NCAA released a statement Wednesday saying they would be having March Madness in empty arenas did to the virus.
The NBA says they will be using this hiatus to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the Coronavirus.
