Dallas Fire-Rescue is investigating after a body was found in Lake Ray Hubbard.
According to DFR, officers responded to the lake shortly after 10 a.m. on Tuesday following a 911 call reporting a body floating in the water. Several agencies worked together to recover the victim.
Officials confirmed that DFR’s Marine 1 unit and the Dallas Police Department’s Dive Team collaborated to retrieve the remains of an unidentified woman from the lake.
Currently, the victim’s identity has not been disclosed, and authorities are working to determine the circumstances that led to her in the water.
The investigation is ongoing, and further updates will be issued as new information becomes available.
