On Tuesday around 5 p.m., Dallas police caused the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge to come to a halt, all for a music video shoot.

The bridge was temporarily closed as part of an “event permitted through the Office of Special Events.” Police vehicles blocked all eastbound lanes, and several RVs and cars were parked in the area. Westbound traffic also experienced heavy congestion during the closure.

Reports indicate that the shoot was for a music video featuring country singer Shaboozey and rapper BigXthaPlug. They were reportedly filming Shaboozey’s song “Highway.”

Although BigXthaPlug isn’t featured on that specific track with Shaboozey, his presence on set isn’t surprising, as he is one of the most prominent artists currently emerging from the DFW area. A Dallas native and proud Oak Cliff representative, BigXthaPlug gained nationwide recognition with his 2023 album *AMAR*.
