Dallas Officer Crashes into Police Headquarters

The Dallas Police Department is investigating after an officer crashed into the Jack Evans Headquarters building.

On July 12, at approximately 4:20 p.m., officers responded to a call for assistance at the 1600 block of Botham Jean Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found that an officer had collided with the building.

A Dallas police van was pushed against the building’s exterior, which has sustained some damage. The officer was taken to a hospital, and their condition is not yet known. No injuries were reported among individuals inside the building.

The investigation remains active.
