Dallas Police Ask for Help in Finding Man Wanted for Shooting His Mother

Dallas Police are asking for the public’s help to locate Jorge Martinez.

Martinez, 26 is wanted for an assault causing bodily injury that occurred on May 12, 2025, in the 1400 block of Pueblo Street.

According to reports Martinez shot his mother in the face and fled the scene before officers could arrive. The mother was transported to an area hospital where she underwent surgery and is expected to survive.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Martinez should contact Crime Stoppers at 214-373-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers will pay a reward for information that leads to the arrest and indictment for this and other felony offenses.
