Dallas police are investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide.
On Monday, May 19, 2025, around 10:00 a.m., officers responded to a call in the 9600 block of Greensprint Drive. Early reports indicate that 82-year-old John Faulkner shot his 81-year-old partner, Sharon Faulkner, and then took his own life with a gunshot wound he inflicted himself.
The Dallas Fire-Rescue squad arrived at the scene, where both victims were declared dead. The victim and the suspect were acquainted with each other.
