Dallas Police Investigate Triple Death, Including Child, in Suspected Double Murder-Suicide

Dallas police are investigating what is believed to be a double murder-suicide.

The incident occurred shortly before 2:30 a.m. Saturday at the 1900 block of Dudley Avenue.

Officers arrived to find three individuals, including a child, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel responded and pronounced the child and woman dead at the scene.

The third individual, a man whose identity has not been disclosed, was transported to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities believe the man shot the woman and the child before turning the firearm on himself. The reasons for the shooting and the nature of their relationship remain unclear, though police are interviewing witnesses who were present at the scene.
