1.7kviews

Antoine Massey, one of ten inmates who escaped from Orleans Parish jail in May, was recaptured in New Orleans and is set to be transferred to a state facility.

He had previously posted on social media claiming innocence. Since the escape, all but one inmate, Derrick Groves, who is still at large with a $50,000 reward, have been apprehended.

Several people, including a jail maintenance worker and an inmate, have been arrested for allegedly aiding the escape.

Massey faced charges for vehicle theft, domestic abuse, and was wanted for rape and kidnapping before his escape.
