A man from Frisco has been apprehended after allegedly stabbing his mother to death.
On July 30, at approximately 6:30 p.m., officers responded to a reports of a stabbing in the 13500 block of Valencia Drive.
When they arrived, they discovered 63-year-old Marie Jackson had succumbed to multiple stab wounds. After collecting evidence and speaking with Jackson’s husband, officials learned that her son, 28-year-old Ryan Jackson, had allegedly carried out the stabbing. Ryan was arrested at the scene and transported to the Frisco Detention Facility.
Details regarding Ryan Jackson’s bond amount have not been disclosed.
Authorities are continuing their investigation and have not yet revealed a motive for the attack.
