Jadeveon Clowney Arrested Days Before Dallas Cowboys Debut

4kviews

NFL veteran Jadeveon Clowney, who recently signed with the Dallas Cowboys, was arrested in his hometown of Rock Hill, South Carolina.

On September 12, Clowney attempted to park at the Dunbar Place Apartments in a no-parking zone.

He reportedly told officers he was there to visit his aunt, but they advised him he couldn’t park there. When Clowney refused to show his identification and engaged in an argument with officers, he was arrested on charges of trespassing and failure to identify.

A former No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and a three-time Pro Bowler, Clowney signed a one-year contract with the Cowboys to bolster their pass rush after trading Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. Last season, he played for the Carolina Panthers, recording 46 tackles, nine tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks.

He has recently been practicing with the Cowboys and is expected to make his first appearance in Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.
