A woman is filing a lawsuit against Walmart following an incident at a Cedar Hill gas station, where she claims she was assaulted by an employee over a $1.06 payment.
The altercation began when the woman attempted to pay for a frozen drink by sliding the money across the counter, but the cashier insisted it be handed directly to her. When the woman refused, an argument ensued, and surveillance footage shows the cashier attacking her as she tried to leave the store.
Authorities arrived to find the cashier as the aggressor, leading to her arrest and charges of assault causing bodily injury.
The victim alleges she suffered two fractured vertebrae, a head injury, and other injuries, and has now filed a lawsuit against Walmart.
