A 19-year-old worker at Tina’s Burritos in Vernon, California, died after falling into a meat grinder during a workplace accident.
The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m. as the employee was cleaning the equipment, which unexpectedly activated. Despite efforts by employees to shut down the machinery and assistance from emergency responders, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the case as an accidental “industrial mishap” and have noted that no foul play is suspected.
