An investigation is underway in Dallas after a man was found fatally shot.
On October 6, 2025, around 7:15 p.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 4500 block of Metropolitan Avenue.
When they arrived they found 32-year-old Anthony Anderson suffering from a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Anderson to a nearby hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, there are no suspects, but authorities are investigating the scene to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal shooting.
The investigation remains active.
