Man Injured in Dallas Shooting Near Malcolm X Boulevard

Dallas police are investigating after an early morning shooting in Dallas.

Around 1 a.m. on September 27, officers responded to a report of gunfire on the 2800 block of Twyman Avenue.

When they arrived, they found 31-year-old Raushaun Kirkland suffering from a gunshot wound on the 2700 block of Lenway Street. He was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

No arrests have been made at this time. Detectives continue to examine the scene to determine what led to the shooting.

The investigation is still ongoing.
