An investigation is ongoing following a double shooting in Dallas over the weekend.
On October 5, 2025, at around 1:20 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 8800 block of Ferguson Road.
Upon arrival, they found two individuals who had been shot. Emergency personnel transported both victims to a nearby hospital, but 23-year-old Anthony Torres later succumbed to his injuries.
Currently, no suspects have been identified, and authorities are working to determine the events that led to the fatal shooting.
The investigation remains active.
