Teenager Faces Murder Charges After Fatal Shooting of 12-Year-Old Boy During Music Video Shoot
A teenager has been charged with murder following the shooting death of a 12-year-old boy during the filming of a music video in Philadelphia over the weekend.
Reports indicate that a 17-year-old is facing charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter, and related offenses after 12-year-old Ethan Parker was fatally shot.
Officers responded to the incident around 12:30 p.m. at the 1500 block of East Pastorius Street.
Parker was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities stated that the charged teen was present in the residence at the time of the shooting and was allegedly identified through investigation as the individual who fired the weapon.
According to police, Parker was recording a music video with two others, aged 15 and 17, when the shooting occurred.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
