Texas Homicide Suspect Located and Apprehended in Mt. Sterling

A homicide suspect from Dallas, Texas, was reportedly located and apprehended at a residence in Mount Sterling on Thursday.

Officials stated that the Mount Sterling Police Department, with assistance from the FBI, successfully located and detained 44-year-old Marco A. Martinez, who is wanted in connection with a 2023 homicide in Dallas.

Martinez was found staying at a home on Spencer Pike, where agents and officers took him into custody. He is currently held at MOCO Regional Jail pending extradition back to Dallas.
