Texas Man Murders Grandparents in Florida, Says “God Told Me to Send My Grandparents to Him”

A 22-year-old man from Texas was arrested Thursday after authorities accused him of killing his grandparents and injuring their neighbor.

On July 23, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting at a residence at Washington Street and Milwaukee Avenue in West Melbourne.

When deputies arrived, they found that Jeremyah Campbell had shot his grandmother, Mary White, inside her home, and then shot his grandfather, George White, along with a 25-year-old neighbor at the neighbor’s residence.

George and Mary White were pronounced dead at the scene, while the neighbor was transported to a hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening.

Further investigation indicated that Campbell told authorities, “God told me to send my grandparents to him,” and, “Now, Satan sees I am a valuable man of the kingdom.”

Campbell was booked into the Brevard County Jail on two counts of second-degree murder, one count of attempted second-degree murder, and one charge of shooting into an occupied dwelling. No bond has been set.
