Rapper Tory Lanez was reportedly taken to the hospital after being stabbed in a California prison.
According to multiple sources, he was transported to a Bakersfield hospital following the incident that occurred around 7:20 a.m. on Monday when another inmate attacked him. Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening.
The Kern County District Attorney’s Office and the California Correctional Institution are currently investigating the motive behind the stabbing.
Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is serving a 10-year sentence for the 2020 shooting involving fellow rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
