Wylie Police Make Four Arrests Related to 11-Year-Old Boy’s Death

Wylie Police are investigating the death of an 11-year-old boy.

On June 9th, around 5:27 p.m., Wylie Police and Wylie Fire Rescue responded to the 1600 block of Long Meadow Road after receiving reports regarding an unresponsive child. When they arrived, emergency personnel and officers discovered the boy was unconscious.

Life-saving measures were administered by medics, and he was transported to a nearby hospital. Despite their efforts, the boy was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Wylie investigators, in partnership with representatives from the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County, responded to the scene to assist in the investigation.

Following further inquiries and the execution of a search warrant on June 10th, detectives secured arrest warrants for four individuals: Sadie Hope (28), Clifford Johnson (67), Eunice Johnson-Lightsey (46), and Sade Hope-Johnson York (30). All four were arrested and charged with Injury to a Child and Abandoning and Endangering a Child.

The investigation remains active, and authorities may pursue additional charges as further evidence is reviewed.
