A transgender was shot and killed Tuesday morning in the Rosemont apartments.
Officers responded to a shooting on the 3000 block of E. Ledbetter and when they arrived they found Michael Richey,22 unconscious from gunshot wounds.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene they pronounced the victim dead.
No suspects have been arrested at this time.
This investigation is ongoing.
