Dallas police along with the help of Florida law enforcement have arrested one suspect in connection to Marisella Botello Valdez’s death.
According to reports Dallas officers responded to a call for human remains found in a wooded area near E. Belt Line Road and Post Oak Road in Wilmer, Texas Wednesday.
On Thursday March 25 Dallas Medical Examiners positively identified the remains as Valdez.
Valdez, 23 was reported missing in Dallas on October 6,2020 after last being seen in Deep Ellum. She flew in from Seattle to visit her boyfriend and officers believed she was a victim of foul play.
Nina Marano,47 was arrested in Miami, Florida Thursday and charged with the murder.
Two additional suspects Charles Beltran,31, a Latino male and Lisa Dykes (AKA: Lisa Beltran),57 a white female still remain at large and are currently wanted for the murder of Valdez.
The cause of death has not been released at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
