Organized Theft Operation Against Retail Stores In Plano Leads To 11 Arrests

On Friday, March 17, eleven people were apprehended for supposedly being involved in a crime ring against retail stores.

On Monday, authorities in Plano, Texas, stated that multiple retail stores had been targeted, and more than $15,000 worth of items had been stolen.

Reports indicate that Burlington Coat Factory on Preston Road experienced thefts on separate occasions by eight individuals. The offenders were all busted and had the products in their cars.

All eight of the individuals are facing a charge of engaging in organized crime.

In other cases, a Home Depot on West Park Boulevard and a Walmart on Dallas Parkway both experienced thefts. Three people were apprehended and charged for those offenses.
