Many parents and community members are outraged by videos and photos that are unfolding from Cedar Hill High School.
The extent of activities that take place in the bathrooms, like drugs and fighting, are alarming to parents.
It was brought to community member’s attention after more videos are being shared online. Parents are wanting to know why things are being covered up and not brought to their attention.
They allege that the staff at the high school are corrupt. They also claim they are not doing their part to keep the children safe.
A recent incident at Cedar Hill High School caused the school to go on lock down. Police officers were called out to the scene after getting word of a gun being found on campus.
This struck fear in everyone’s heart and parents wanted answers as well as reassurance.
In response to the incident, the principal sent out a letter to parents ensuring it was nothing to be worried about.
Principal Shay Whittaker insists that disciplinary action has been taken and that it was an air soft BB gun found, not a real gun.
Parents, however, obtained photos of what they allege to be a real gun. In the photo, the gun is on top of a disciplinary sheet for Cedar Hill High School.
They claim the school keeps covering up things and the parents want answers as to why.
