Paul Pierce Details Why He Didn’t Apologize For Stripper Recording

1.3kviews

Paul Pierce, a former Boston Celtics player, was terminated by ESPN in April.

This occurred after he posted a video on Instagram Live revealing himself gambling, smoking, and partying with dancing strippers.

Now, as he is about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, he openly talked about the incident in a new interview with Sports Illustrated.

In the discussion, Pierce talks about how things weren’t really going to well with ESPN, anyway. He noted that the demands of traveling and of his superiors and having to discuss his former rival when broadcasting, were major issues.

“There’s a lot of stuff over there that you can’t say. And you have to talk about LeBron all the time,” he stated.

Pierce was encouraged to apologize for the video, but he wouldn’t.

“Come on! I didn’t do anything illegal…What the f*** did I do?..half you MF’s do the same s***..I’m divorced..having fun.”
