A woman is in critical condition after being struck by an 18 wheeler while crossing the street in Garland.
According to reports a woman was walking near Shiloh and Arapaho Rd around 6:30am Wednesday when she had the right away to cross the street and stepped into the crosswalk.
An 18 wheeler then struck the woman and continued traveling north onto Shiloh Rd.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital where she remains in critical condition.
It is unclear if the truck knew they struck the woman or just failed to stop and render aid.
