A Pennsylvania man was charged with abuse of the corpse after a missing woman’s body was found in a fridge near his apartment building inside McKee Rocks.
Kristy Jefferson,38 had been reported missing and was discovered by the police in the McKees Rocks Building.
Neighbors had alerted authorities of a smell coming from a refrigerator in the apartment hallway and when officers opened it tbey discovered Kristy’s body wrapped with a tan sheet.
Daryl Jones,40 was arrested and charged with abuse of the corpse.
The cause and manner of Jefferson’s death is still unclear.
