Authorities say that a pizza owner in Pennsylvania murdered her partner and disclosed his body for several weeks. The two had been together for a long time, and her partner also owned the shop with her.

Police say that Anna Maria Tolomello, 48, shot Giovanni Gallina in the head.

A small memorial in honor of Gallina can be observed inside of Pina’s Pizza in New Britain, Pa.

After not talking to Gallina, his son reported him missing. Tolomello then told him that his dad was not in town and had left his phone behind at the pizza place.

On Tuesday, a search warrant was performed at the home that the couple shared.

Tolomello told officers that she was aware of why they were there. She added that she fatally shot Gallina on March 16. This was because he had been strangling her at that time.

The man’s body was discovered, covered in a tarp in the master bedroom.

Tolomello’s confessed to planning to bury the body in a spot wher she had dug a hole on her property. She had also gotten rid of evidence, including a mattress and a spent shell casing.

Tolomello was arraigned on Wednesday and is facing criminal homicide charges and tampering with evidence. She is being held without bond.
