A pregnant 18 year old teen was shot and killed Sunday night just a block away from her home.
According to reports Treja Kelley,18 was walking home from work when an unidentified man emerged from an alley and began arguing with the victim.
The two began arguing back and forth before the male suspect pulled out a handgun and shot Kelley three times in the head and several times in the torso area before fleeing the scene.
Kelley was transported to the University Of Chicago Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Officers say they don’t have a suspect in custody but Kelley recently testified against Deonte Davis for the slaying of her cousin Christopher Fields,17.
This investigation is ongoing.
