Quarterback from KSU Murdered After Car is Hit with ’50 Rounds’

Ladarius Clardy, 18, was murdered after more than 4 dozen shots were fired at his car in Florida on Thursday.

The Kennesaw State University football player was located by emergency crews. This was after a passersby alerted them to a car that went down an embankment.

“This was an intentional act. Someone fired over 50 rounds into the car, most of them into the car door, the driver door…,”said a sheriff.

Ladarius had only been in the city for a few hours and was popular in Escambia County where he led his high school team through two successful winning seasons. He holds the title of all-time passing record at the the school. He also won Offensive Player of the year, two years in a row.

A 19 year-old was also in the vehicle. After surgery, his condition is still unknown.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
