Quinn Ewers, a five-star quarterback, from Southlake Carroll, will skip his senior year of high school. He will start early at Ohio State. Now, he can begin making seven figures in a choice that could change the future of prep football in Texas.
Ewers is the no.1 recruit in the country. He made this choice because of state law and the UIL. They wouldn’t permit him to cash in on his Name, Image, and Likeness and retain his high school eligibility.
Ewers has been getting offers from colleges since he was in middle school. He only has one class to finish in order to obtain his high school diploma. He will reclassify to the recruiting class of 2021 and will be able to play for Ohio State this fall.
It has been reported that Ewers can possibly profit a million dollars in the upcoming year off his Name, Image, and Likeness.
