Studies has confirmed that instant noodle consumption is linked to Metabolic Syndrome, especially for women. The group of risk factors, including obesity and high blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar, that increase the risk of heart disease and diabetes.

Researchers conducted a study in South Korea, where consumption of instant noodles is the highest in the world. Results show Women who consume instant noodles were found to be more likely to have Metabolic Syndrome. This is probably because of BPA that’s found inside of the packaging that is known to mess with estrogen levels.

Processed noodles are not being able to be fully digested. This causes feces to build up on the intestinal walls which can create ulcers on the intestinal lining. Constipation leads to inability to absorb the nutrients from food, leading to malnutrition; fogginess of mind and migraines.
