On Thursday, Arkansas rapper Bankroll Freddie, 27, was apprehended. This was for drug, weapons, and resisting arrest charges after he was stopped for speeding.
Born Freddie Demarcus Gladney, the 27-year-old “Drip Like Dis” recording artist was pulled over in Marion, Arkansas.
He is said to have had 21 pounds of marijuana, which is illegal in the state, 171 grams of promethazine, and a gun.
Bankroll Freddie is signed to Quality Control Music and Motown Records. He has worked with other big performers such as Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, and Lil Yachty.
Just last week, Bankroll Freddie released his newest single, “Pickin’ Sides.”
He is reportedly being held on a $2,780 bond and is now in FBI custody.
