Mystical, the well-known rapper from New Orleans, has been apprehended and placed in the Ascension Parish Jail. This is his third count of sexual crimes claims. In the last twenty years, there have been two other rape allegations against him.
52-year-old Mystikal, whose real name is Michael Tyler, was taken into custody on Sunday, in Louisiana. He faces several charges, including false imprisonment and first-degree rape.
In 2004, he was accused of rape after claims that he sexually assaulted his hairstylist.
Then, in 2017, he turned himself into authorities when he learned of a warrant in regards to an assault at a casino in Shreveport. Those charges were later dismissed, and Mystikal was freed from jail on a $3 million bond.
After his apprehension on Sunday, no bond had been posted for Mystikal. He has also been charged with simple robbery, domestic abuse battery, and simple criminal damage to property.
