Reckless Driver Kills 1, Injures Two In Ft. Worth

On March 15, 2022, close to 11 p.m., a white Camaro was going more than 150 mph in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20 near McCart Avenue., in Fort Worth, Texas.

The vehicle then slammed into a silver SUV. The driver died, and two passengers, who were also in that vehicle, were hurt. The airbag control monitor revealed that the Camaro was going 157 mph where the posted speed limit was 70-mph.

Bryce Anthony, 22, was apprehended by FWPD traffic detectives. He has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of manslaughter.

“Reckless driving is irresponsible, egregious, and dangerous. Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution and responsibility when operating a motor vehicle,” the department noted in a statement.
