Refrigerator With 15lbs Of Marijuana Dropped Along I-45

Ferris police are investigating how a refrigerator full of marijuana ended up on Interstate 45 Wednesday night.
According to reports a Ferris police officer had a car pulled over along I-45 near Malloy Bridge Road and heard a loud noise.
Once he finished up his traffic stop he loop d around the freeway to see what the noise was and discovered a refrigerator in the middle of the road.

Ferris police posted to social media saying, “Someone dropped their refrigerator loaded with marijuana on S/B Interstate 45. To whomever lost their valuables, please come claim it at the Ferris PD and we will be more than happy to assist you.”
The refrigerator and marijuana was taken into evidence and contained about 15 pounds.
